Linda Forsell is a freelancing photojournalist based in Stockholm working with a combination of shorter assignments and longer projects. She has been published in for example the Guardian, Washington Post, Vice Magazine, the New Yorkers photo booth, la Repubblica and most major Scandinavian publications.

For the past six years she has worked extensively on women’s issues in the world, based out of New York. Her project Children having Children is a two year long commitment to following the lives of young mother's below 15 in Guatamala. The project has been exhibited extensively throughout Guatemala during 2015, and received recognition from the Visura Grant, the Swedish Picture of the Year and Arbetets Museum's Documentary photography Price.

Between 2010 and 2012 Linda traveled to ten countries, documenting violence against women in the world in the project Cause of Death: Woman. In the beginning of 2012 the result was launched at www.causeofdeathwoman.com. Her project, Life’s a blast, from Israel and Palestine, became a book in 2012, at the same time as it was exhibited in Stockholm, Sweden. The series was one of the finalists of Magnum Expression Award in 2010, and it was exhibited at the Noorderlicht photo festival in 2009.

Linda also received recognition from the Swedish Arts Foundation, the Lead Awards, Flash Magenta Award and a nomination to the Magnum Emergency Fund among others. Her work has been exhibited internationally in for example Beijing, Sweden, London, Holland and the US.
